Bad Vibes Everywhere

It’s been a rough start to the month with prominent areas of the market rolling over.

One of the inconvenient truths about corrections like this is that they tend to spread fast.

When one area breaks down, selling can move through the market like germs through a kindergarten classroom.

That’s essentially what we’ve seen since the calendar flipped over to February.

Crypto, software, speculative tech, semiconductors, and even the Mag 7. It seemed like every day, a new group became the focus of selling pressure.

Given such a quick rollover, I want to dig into some charts and walk through how these bad vibes rotate through the market.

That’s because understanding these kinds of rotations can help us spot where the next great trades may come from.

And if you pay close enough attention during these pullbacks, the market can even give you some clear cues on when things might flip back to positive.

The bears have done a great job providing a sentiment reset where we can build some really nice trades on the long side from here.

So don’t get too hung up on the bad vibes that are out there right now. This too shall pass.
